The mail order business that Clas Ohlson started in 1918 in Insjön is now an established European retail business. There are about three thousand staff working in Sweden, Norway, Finland and the UK who all follow our company motto “Making things easier for people to solve their everyday practical problems”. Clas Ohlson is a rapidly expanding retail business with sales of over SEK 5 billion in Sweden, Norway, Finland and the UK. The Head Office lies in the same town where its business operation began in Insjön, Dalarna County. The company has been listed on Stockholm's Stock Exchange (OMX) since 1999.

In both Finland and the UK, sales are conducted through our expanding retail network. Clas Ohlson’s core business concept is in finding convenient solutions to our customer’s everyday practical problems. We have been living up to this idea since our company was established in 1918 in Insjön, Dalarna County, Sweden. Our founder’s motto, “We will sell well-built products at affordable prices with a level of quality that fits our customer’s needs" is still the foundation of our business. Customers can find clever solutions to their everyday practical problems at one of our many stores in Sweden, Norway, Finland, the UK and online. We repair and distribute all our goods at our Distribution Centre in Insjön, which is also one of Scandinavia’s most effective. Also found in Insjön is our Head Office, where Purchasing, Customer Services, Administration, and other important functions are based. In addition, Clas Ohlson also has a number of supporting offices in cities such as Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsinki, London and Shanghai.
